I admire govt banks for their affordability and reliability , But i have only one public bank savings account  in Punjab national bank .

I am using PNB bank services since 2009 , It was my first bank account and i am happy with their services . But As i shifted to Delhi and now using private banks , I thought to try to open a account with any public bank  , As  Union Bank of India Sector 16 Rohini is near by to my home . It is located in Ambedekar Bhawan , Institutional Area , Sector 16 Rohini Delhi  , I applied online for savings account on 16th July and got the reference number on email and sms . Also details about KYC requirements .

I Visited branch sharp 1 pm , 20th July 2016 with all my documents like Pan card , passport and adhar card both in originals and xerox  . Bank was less crowded and having 15-20 customers . Branch space is small  with 10-12 chairs for visitors.   First i asked Customer service desk , A lady was working their and has some account opening forms , So i asked  about my reference number and requested her to guide me about account opening desk , She guided me to another lady at the corner of cashier , The lady was on phone call . She was using apple 6s or 6 phone , She was talking with someone on dinner set etc. Seems she was not concentrating on work. I asked her to help me out in opening my account .

She asked me for two minutes as she was on call , So i waited for 1.15 pm ( 12 minutes ) But she remained on call . Seems talking with husband or someone from family , She noted down my reference number on a paper , But she remained on call .

After 1.25 pm a men aged 50-52 arrived on nearby counter so she guided me to ask sir about process of opening account as she dont know anything about how to deal with online saving account  applicants .

The men asked me about print out of form , I never know that print out of online application is required , It was not mentioned in email sent by this great bank .

So i leaved the bank and now writing my review .

Conclusions –  Why so many forms to be printed for account opening ? If you can ban diesel for environment then please ban such paper works , Make all things online for online applicants , Those who dont use internet or computer can avail paper way .

Why to talk on phone for useless things while working hours . Mobile should be used on time of emergency .

Union bank employees please visit any Yes Bank branch , You will learn how to treat the customers.  Govt should examine the behavior of banking employees , They are rude.
